39 x 31 framed

Sue Daly is the featured artist this week for Rocky Neck Gallery’s big work wall.  Her painting, Poppies, is a watercolor measuring 39"H x 31"W framed and is $750.
When asked what inspired this work she replied, “I was inspired to paint the poppies in a more abstract fashion after doing a series of realistic ones.”
A New England native, Daly received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania. She has taught art in grades 1 through 8, adult education, senior citizens groups and workshops at various art associations.
Daly works in watermedia and is also a printmaker.  She has studied with many renowned artists through the years.  An avid traveler, Daly often paints the exotic and the ordinary subjects she discovers in her journeys.
She is a Signature Member of the New England Watercolor Society and the Rhode Island Watercolor Society.  Along with being a juried member of the Rocky Neck Gallery, Daly is an artist member of these Massachusetts art organizations: the North Shore Art Association of Gloucester, the Copley Society of Boston, the Rockport Art Association, and the Marblehead Art Association.  She is also an artist member of the Naples Art Association of Naples, Florida.
